CEO & Co-Founder
Phocas Software
Myles started his adult life as a biotechnologist but quickly realised that business rather than bacteria was more his thing. He founded Phocas in 2001 with a simple mission to help business leaders from manufacturing, distribution, and retail companies feel good about their data.
Myles is passionate about culture, particularly helping employees and customers to have fun and fulfilling working lives and giving them a significant say in shaping Phocas. He has evolved the product by listening attentively to customers and delivering visionary functionality consistently so that customers have the best features that give business leaders the data they need to propel their businesses.
After many years of living and working overseas, establishing Phocas in the UK, then in his hometown of Sydney, and finally in the US out of NYC, he lives now in Sydney on Bondi beach with his family. Phocas is growing like crazy with over A$55 million in revenue in FY22, approximately 2500 customers, 30,000 users worldwide, and approximately 300 employees working from offices spanning four continents.
In 2021, Phocas secured A$20 million in their first external fund-raising round to invest in the product, expand into new verticals and make good decisions for people, profit, and the planet.
